  About Our Pastor

Pastor Adam S. Brasich, Ph.D.

Pastor Adam Brasich grew up in southern Wisconsin, not too far away from Madison. He moved to Crawfordsvillle, Indiana, to attend Wabash College, which is a small liberal arts college for men. He majored in religion (particularly in contemporary theology and New Testament studies). After college, he went on to grad school at Florida State University, where he earned a M.A. and Ph.D. in American religious history. While in Tallahassee, he volunteered extensively at his church and felt a call to the pastoral ministry. So, after wrapping up his Ph.D., he decided to go back to school (again!). He exchanged the white sand beaches of North Florida for the white, snow-covered prairies of southern Minnesota and attended Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary, which is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. After completing his coursework at BLTS, he boomeranged back to Florida, where he was called to serve as a vicar (or pastoral intern) at Our Savior Lutheran Church and Resurrection Lutheran Church, our sister church in Winter Haven. Following his vicarage, he was called to serve Our Savior and Resurrection as their pastor.

Pastor Brasich is excited to be back in Florida. When he's not preparing sermons and making pastoral visits, he loves watching his Seminoles make another run for a football championship, visiting with friends, and spending time outside hiking and exploring everything central Florida has to offer.
